Trinity Drilling & Blasting was built to meet a specific need in the field: a drilling and blasting contractor that understands the realities of construction, quarry, and mining work, not just the technical side of the job, but the coordination, planning, and accountability required to keep projects moving.
With roots dating back to the mid-1980s, Trinity’s foundation is closely tied to the site development industry. Originating from a site contractor’s operations and perspective, that background continues to shape how our team approaches every project, bringing a practical, construction-driven mindset to drilling and blasting work across a range of environments.
Today, Trinity is supported by strong operational resources, including its relationship with Mᵌ Explo LLC, which supplies explosive materials and supports shot services in the field. This connection helps ensure consistent access to materials, responsive service, and reliable execution across projects.
Our unofficial motto, “Shoot it like you had to dig it,” reflects that mindset. Every decision made in drilling and blasting has a direct impact on what comes next, and we approach that responsibility with care.

To a developer, rock looks like a big risk that drives up cost while reducing return on investment. To a quarry, rock represents a resource from which to profit. Both rely on drilling and blasting as a means to an end: a site upon which to build or produce crushed stone, cement, and asphalt. We bring products, processes, and blast patterns that support the end goal, not simply a short-term, low-cost step that drives up cost elsewhere in the operation.

Headquartered near Morgantown, PA, Trinity Drilling & Blasting proudly supports developers, contractors, and site operators across a defined core service area, with the ability to extend operations based on opportunity and need.
- Our core service area includes South Central PA, Southeastern PA, Northern MD, and Northern DE—regions where our crews bring extensive hands-on experience working alongside project teams.

Adam DiPaul
General Manager
Trinity Drilling & BlastingView Bio
Adam brings more than 15 years of experience across construction, engineering, and drilling and blasting operations, with a background spanning fieldwork, geotechnical services, estimating, and project management. As General Manager, he plays a key role in leading operations for Trinity, supporting estimating, project execution, and overall team performance.
His career began in the field as an equipment operator and laborer, before moving into geotechnical inspection and testing, where he gained hands-on experience evaluating subsurface conditions. Adam later transitioned to a role as a project engineer and estimator, working across site development, utilities, and drilling and blasting projects, experience that continues to shape his practical, solutions-focused approach today.
Outside of work, Adam enjoys spending time with his family, coaching youth sports, and staying active outdoors. He is an avid trail runner and regularly competes in ultramarathons.
Lonny Horst
Business Development Manager

Lonny brings more than four decades of experience in drilling and blasting, with a career that reflects both deep technical expertise and long-standing industry relationships. As Business Development Manager, he works closely with clients and partners to support project planning and identify solutions that align with field realities.
He began his career as a heavy equipment operator before transitioning into blasting, where he became a licensed blaster and later a drilling and blasting manager. Over the years, Lonny has led operations across multiple organizations, including serving as the owner of his own drilling and blasting company, gaining valuable experience across construction and quarry environments.
Today, Lonny brings that experience full circle at Trinity, helping clients navigate complex conditions with a practical, experience-driven perspective. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, as well as hunting, fishing, and boating.
Pete Kirstner
Operations Manager
Trinity Drilling & BlastingView Bio
Pete brings decades of hands-on experience in drilling and blasting operations, with a career rooted in field execution, leadership, and team development. As Operations Manager, he oversees daily operations at Trinity, including scheduling, forecasting, permitting, and supporting field crews’ performance across a range of projects.
Throughout his career, Pete has gained extensive experience as a driller, blaster, and supervisor. Pete has led field operations on projects ranging from small construction sites to large-scale quarry and warehouse developments, working across multiple states and maintaining a broad range of blasting licenses.
His experience also includes roles with other drilling and blasting organizations, further strengthening his operational perspective. Outside of work, Pete enjoys real estate, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and powerlifting.
